This week’s #FlashbackFriday is Julia Priest. Coached by Andrea Bekker, Tasmin Maher & Lia Benetti.
Julia: “My equestrian life started from a very young age, as only a one-year-old I was already loving sitting with my mom on her horse. As I grew, I spent a lot of time on the side of show arenas, watching my sister ride. I eventually decided to take my adventures of riding seriously, I started with Andrea and I rode all the school ponies and they taught me so much, then I met the beautiful girl Dreamcatcher’s Charis. At first, I was sceptical, were we right for each other? but as soon as we understood each other, I knew she was the perfect pony for me. Her lovely nature and strong mind that forced me to ride correctly or go nowhere, advanced my riding in many ways as well as my love for horses. After a while I grew out of Charis and that’s when Tasmin and I made the decision to start on my boy November Rain #Nova, a very strong headed and particular pony. I’ve now started lessons with Taz and Lia, they have taught me so many techniques on how to ride effectively. Nova and I are growing more every week and it is only getting better. I have many goals for my riding, but my main drive is to always want to be the best for my boy and teach him love and respect. From the beginning of my life, horses have taught me so much, without them I would never be the person I am today.Glover is a place for friends and the love of riding, I couldn’t ask for a better place to be growing up and spending my horsey time at.”
Julia and Nova have been going from strength to strength, a team of pure joy! We can’t wait to see more from you two this year.
