It’s #FlashbackFriday! Today we have Catherine Priest, aged 13, coached by Tasmin Maher and Andrea Bekker.

Cath: “I have loved horses ever since I can remember. My mom has always told me the story of when I was 18 months old, and I wouldn’t stop crying until I was put on the horse with her. And then cry again when I was taken off.We moved to Glover in 2012, where I started lessons with Aisling riding Sky Blue. I then met the gorgeous Midnight Express, who was my point and go pony for the next 2 years. She taught me to be brave and confident with my riding.Then came my girly girl Dreamcatchers Charis. She taught me how to ride correctly and effectively. She introduced me to my love for Equitation, wow did we enjoy doing Equitation and dressage together, what fun we had!! We had such great results in the time we spent together.Moving on, I met my jumping pony, miss Heather G. The bond we have today after just 18 months together amazes me. The confidence she gives to get over the jumps allows me to just focus on the course and get through with super clear rounds. I am so proud of what we have achieved together in such a short time.6 months ago, I was offered an amazing opportunity to care for and ride Adie. A totally different pony to what I was used to. She has pushed me further than I thought I could be at this stage.I am so lucky to have two such amazing ponies.All my achievement throughout the years with every pony I have ridden would not have been possible without the wonderful instructors and family at Glover Paddocks. I couldn’t ask for better instructors than Tasmin, Courtney and Andrea. They have taught me so much and continue to help me grow every day. Thank you!!One of the best things that Glover gives me, is all the friends I have. We have so much fun together doing crazy things.”

We wish Catherine and her special ponies Adie and Heather the absolute best for this year, they’ve just gone up to the PR1m classes and we know they’re going to do brilliantly.
