Our Flashback Friday today is Tracey Beukes.

“Penny and I have been at Glover – the best yard – for many years, I think since about 2013. The biggest lesson I have ever learnt is from Penny. When she was about 4, I was becoming frustrated with her as she couldn’t do something I wanted. She bucked me off and I was humbled that day. I was being incredibly unfair to my partner and having too high expectations. I believe now that a horse is a teammate and not for a person to dominate in any way, shape or form. I would love to learn how to ride the advanced dressage movements, especially passage. My favourite things to do at Glover are riding around the track, afternoon chill out with the ladies and relaxing with Penny and letting her find the yummiest grass.“
