🏝️Riverside Rest

A Peaceful Retirement for Horses Who Have Given So Much

At Glover Paddocks, our commitment to horse welfare extends far beyond a horse's working life. Managed by Michael Maher and his dedicated team, Riverside Rest provides retired horses with exceptional 24-hour care in a peaceful environment where comfort, wellbeing, and compassion come first.

Nestled on the banks of the Crocodile River in the Cradle of Humankind, Riverside Rest offers nine hectares of rolling countryside, lush grazing, spacious stabling, and large paddocks where horses can enjoy a relaxed retirement surrounded by nature.

Here, every horse is treated as an individual and given the care, freedom, and respect they have earned through years of loyal partnership.

Because every horse deserves a retirement as remarkable as the life they've lived.

We'd Love to Welcome You

If you're looking for a safe, caring, and peaceful retirement home for your horse, we'd be delighted to show you everything Riverside Rest has to offer. Please get in touch to arrange a visit or discuss your horse's individual needs.
